About Settlis

Free fair prices and paper trading for sports prediction markets.

What Settlis does

Sports prediction markets trade on several exchanges at once. The same outcome can carry a different price and a different fee on each one, and it is hard to tell what a fair price would be.

Settlis works that out and publishes it, free:

  • Fair prices. Settlis's fair price for every sports market it maps across Kalshi, Polymarket and Novig, with each exchange's price, its fee and the cheapest place to trade. Published once a day.
  • The Lab. A nightly look at what trading has cost on each exchange and where the trading is.
  • Paper trading. Describe a strategy in plain words. Settlis tests it on past trades, then on paper against live prices, with results every Friday. No real money.

The tools are being released in stages. The NFL and soccer come first.

How Settlis works

Settlis is a participant on CFTC-registered exchanges, never an exchange. Orders rest on the exchange, and the exchange matches them. Settlis does not hold your money and does not place orders for you.

Settlis also trades these markets, and its orders may be among the prices shown. The pricing work behind its own trading is the same work that produces the fair prices published here. The Disclosures page explains what that means for you.

What you can count on

  • The same for everyone. Every visitor sees the same pages. Nothing is tailored to you.
  • Honest gaps. When Settlis has no fair price, or too little data to measure something, the page says so and gives the reason.
  • A public record. Each day's fair prices are checked against the results the next day, with the misses included.
  • A stated method. The Methodology page sets out how the numbers are made, and each exchange's fee formula.
  • No promises. Information only; not advice. Settlis promises no return.
