1. In short

• Settlis gives you free information about sports prediction markets. Information only; not advice.
• Settlis is a participant on CFTC-registered exchanges, never an exchange. It does not hold your money and does not place orders for you.
• Settlis also trades these markets, and its orders may be among the prices shown.
• Paper results are hypothetical. No real money is involved.
• The numbers can be wrong or out of date. If you trade, you do so at your own risk.
• Do not scrape the site or resell its data.

This summary is here to help you. The sections below are the terms.

2. Who we are and how you agree

settlis.com is operated by AiDD Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as Settlis. In these terms, “Settlis”, “we” and “us” mean AiDD Inc.

By using the site you agree to these terms and to the Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Two other pages explain the site. The Disclosures page sets out Settlis's conflict of interest and the limits of the numbers. The Methodology page explains how the numbers are made. Please read both.

3. What Settlis provides

Settlis publishes free tools for sports prediction markets:

• Fair prices. Settlis's fair price for the markets it maps, each exchange's price and fee, and a daily record.
• The Lab. A nightly analysis of what trading has cost and where the trading is.
• Paper trading. Testing a strategy with no real money.

The tools are being released in stages, and some may not be available yet. Settlis may change, limit or withdraw any of them at any time.

Settlis is a participant on CFTC-registered exchanges, never an exchange. Orders rest on the exchange, and the exchange matches them. Settlis does not hold your money and does not place orders for you. If you trade, you do it yourself, in your own account, under the rules of the exchange you trade on.

4. Who may use the site

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for knowing whether trading event contracts is lawful where you live, and whether you are allowed to use any particular exchange. Nothing on this site is an offer of trading services.

5. Information only; not advice

Everything on the site is general information, the same for every visitor. It is not investment, legal or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any contract.

You alone decide whether and how to trade, and you bear the results. Trading event contracts is risky, and you can lose all the money you put in.

The Our strategies page is a record of Settlis's own past trading. It is not an offer and it is not an invitation to invest. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

6. Settlis trades these markets

Settlis also trades these markets, and its orders may be among the prices shown. Settlis may be on the other side of a trade you make, and it may profit from that trade. The Disclosures page explains the conflict. By using the site you accept that it exists.

7. Paper trading

Paper trading uses no real money and places no orders. Paper results are hypothetical. They are simulated from public records of trades, and they do not show what real trading would have produced.

Settlis may limit how many tests or paper strategies you can run.

8. The waitlist and email

If you join the waitlist, you give us your email address and you agree to these terms and to the Privacy policy. We record the versions you agreed to.

The waitlist is not an offer. Settlis has described a shared pool that it hopes to offer in the future. That pool is not yet registered or open, and Settlis accepts no money for it. Joining the waitlist reserves no place and commits neither you nor Settlis to anything.

We use your email address to tell you when what you signed up for is available. We send other product news only if you asked for it. You can leave the waitlist or stop the emails at any time by writing to support@settlis.com.

9. Accounts

Some tools will need an account. You will sign in with Google or with a link sent to your email address. Settlis does not ask you to create a password.

Keep your email account secure, because whoever controls it can sign in as you. An account is for one person. Tell us at support@settlis.com if you think someone else has used yours.

The free tools do not ask for your exchange login, your exchange API keys or a payment. If a message asks for any of these in Settlis's name, do not answer it, and tell us.

10. Fair use of the site

You may read the site, use its tools for yourself, and share links, screenshots and individual figures with credit to Settlis.

You may not:

• copy the site's data in bulk, by scraping or by any other automated means;
• resell, license or republish the data as a feed, a database or a competing service;
• present a Settlis fair price as the price of any sportsbook or exchange, or as anything other than Settlis's own estimate;
• get around limits, probe or attack the site, or disrupt it for other people;
• use the site to break the law or the rules of any exchange, including the rules against manipulating a market;
• create accounts by automated means or under a false identity.

Settlis may block or suspend access that breaks these rules.

11. What you write

Where a tool lets you describe a strategy in your own words, the words stay yours. You give Settlis permission to store and process them so that the tool can work. Your strategies and their results are private to you unless you choose to share them.

Do not put personal information about other people, or anything unlawful, into a strategy.

12. Who owns what

The site, its design and its text, the Settlis name and marks, and the fair prices and analysis Settlis produces belong to AiDD Inc. These terms let you use them as described above, and give you no other rights in them.

Kalshi, Polymarket and Novig are the names and marks of their owners. Settlis is not owned by any of them and does not speak for them.

13. Exchanges and other services

Your dealings with any exchange are between you and that exchange. Its terms, fees and rules apply, and Settlis is not responsible for what it does.

The site relies on services Settlis does not control, such as hosting and analytics. Where the site links to another website, Settlis is not responsible for that website.

14. No warranties

The site is provided as it is. Settlis works to make it accurate, but does not promise that any price, fair price, fee, result or other content is correct, complete or current, or that the site will be available or free of errors.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Settlis disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

15. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Settlis and its officers, employees and agents are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything on it.

The site is free. To the fullest extent the law allows, Settlis's total liability to you for all claims about the site is limited to US $100.

Some places do not allow some of these limits. Where that is so, the limits apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law of the place where you live says cannot be taken away.

16. Changes to these terms

Settlis may change these terms. When it does, the version and the date at the top of this page change, and the new terms apply from that date. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.

17. Ending

You can stop using the site at any time. To have your waitlist entry or your account deleted, write to support@settlis.com. Settlis may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

The sections on ownership, warranties, liability and governing law continue to apply afterwards.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law. Any dispute about these terms or about the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and Settlis accept the jurisdiction of those courts.

These terms and the Privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and Settlis about the site. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
